One of England’s best-known and best-loved poets, Benjamin Zephaniah has written many poetry collections for adults and children, as well as plays for the stage, television and radio. He has produced numerous music recordings, and appeared as an actor in several television and film productions. Having left school at 14, he now holds an honorary doctorate in Arts and Humanities from the University of North London, and was made a Doctor of Letters by the University of Central England, and a Doctor of the University by the University of Staffordshire.
