What The World Needs Now Is Love LIVE!
A group of singers got together in Los Angeles with one purpose in mind... to spread the message of LOVE!
So, here’s the thing… The world we are currently living in is in a state of despair.Everywhere you turn, something negative is happening. Tornados, hurricanes, earthquakes, fires, hate groups, racism, senseless killings and violence… it’s all too much. People are suffering and feel helpless.
All of this has been weighing heavily on my heart. I really wanted to do something to help. The only thing I could think of was to offer up my gifts to try to put some positive energy out there. I realize there is strength in numbers so I put out a mass call to my friends and colleagues here in Los Angeles. To my delight, everyone responded with a yes!!!! We decided to get together and do a recording of “What The World Needs Now Is Love,” a song written and composed by Burt Bacharach and Hal David. The song itself was written back in the 60s but the message of the song is just as important today as ever before. Light drives out darkness. Love is greater than hate. We just want to plant seeds of love and light to encourage someone. The hope is that it will uplift someone and add a little joy to their day. That’s the mission.
